Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian, and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actor shortly after immigrating to the United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and then in 2020 - have has made her famous. In addition to commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a regular series on Yahoo! After being featured in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents and she left antisemitism at just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Due to financial hardships within the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But, she quit her sophomore year, and subsequently obtained a GED. Following that she was able to receive the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
