Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born on May 7, 1998), is an American YouTube personality and businessman. The YouTube personality has been acknowledged as the pioneer of a new genre of YouTube videos that revolve around expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson was 13 when began uploading videos to YouTube under the username "MrBeast6000". His first content consisted of "Let's Plays" and "videos which estimate wealth of other YouTubers." After his 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video was viewed by tens and thousands of views in a matter of days, he became an instant YouTube star. His early content included Let's Plays and videos which predicted the worth of other YouTubers. Donaldson was able to have several of his former classmates help him to manage the growing channel. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel surpassed 100 million users on July 28, 2022.
