Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actress director, producer, educator, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is daughter of a Briton and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. At the beginning of her career Anna appeared in a number of commercials for television. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career. After that, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. Anna was a convert to Judaism at the time, and Seth Cooperman were married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows by having a Jewish ceremony. Bo's sex-related relationship with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo) was featured in CNN as being among the all-time favorites Television Couples. E! named it "the top television Couple" in 2013.
